PAUL C. NEAL BA Cert Ed (pcet)
Paul is a highly experienced Security Professional at Strategic and Tactical levels, with over 45 years’ experience of dealing with crime and security matters, with vast experience of training Senior Police Officers, Senior members of the Emergency Services, Local and Central Government Officials.
Paul Studied Education and Training at the University of Greenwich and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2004. He is a qualified Teacher holding a Certificate in Education and is currently studying for a Diploma in Educational Psychology.
Paul is the Founder of the Strategic Leadership Academy for Security Professionals and is the Senior Course Director.
Paul is a Fellow of Institute of Training and Occupational Learning; he is a Member of the Association of Security Consultants. He is an Associate Industry Sector Lead for the Security Industry with the Cross- Sector Security Communications Scheme (CSSC). Paul is also listed on the elite Register of Independent Security Consultants, specialising in Security Management Training.
After retiring from the Police, Paul moved into the world of Corporate Security, working with a large Construction and Infrastructure company.
He began as an Assistant to a Project Security Manager and was quickly promoted to Security Manager becoming responsible for projects valued at over £100 Million. Over a 14 year period he progressed to Senior Security Manager, Sector Security Manager, Head of Security for the Infrastructure Division and finally the Security Director of the whole Group.
Paul was Chair of the Security Steering Group, had group-wide responsibility for security strategy and policy. He was responsible for liaison with Police, Security Industry Authority, Immigration Service and all other security related organisations. Leader of the In-House Security Team responsible for all Corporate Security Operations.
Also, Security Advisor to many of the Group’s Major Projects including Crossrail, HS2, Thames Tideway, Holmesdale and Bell Common Tunnels, Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester Airports and London Bridge Station.
